Education Faire opened
The Second Life Education Support Faire 2009 has a theme selected by Pathfinder: “Ecosystems of Support” like he explains in the wiki. Two simple words that comprise a big idea – a Faire where educators or others related to educational issues could find support either from LL either from Residents. I like both the theme both the idea! 
Today, one hour after the Official Opening of the Faire, the Pavilion was full!

About me
In real life (RL) my name is Teresa Bettencourt. I’m a PhD teacher at University of Aveiro, in the Department of Didactics and Educational Technology (DTE). I’m also the assistent secretary of the Research Centre for Didactics and Technology in Teacher Education (CIDTFF). My research concerns are related to the educational potential of ICT on initial teacher training. I’m quite an old in this field! I started with DOS a long time ago! Now my interests converge to Second Life, as an enriched virtual world and environment that can enhance our actual teaching and learning models!
