Estava na Universidade do Minho, no Encontro Web 2.0. quando cerca das 18h a notícia chegou por telemóvel – a minha querida amiga Maggie tinha falecido. Um ano após, não consigo deixar de fazer um post completamente pessoal para expressar o quanto ainda dói e as saudades que a Maggie continua a deixar.
Em Portucalis, no espaço dedicado à Maggie – Philbin’s Memory Lane – hoje ouve-se Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

About me
In real life (RL) my name is Teresa Bettencourt. I’m a PhD teacher at University of Aveiro, in the Department of Didactics and Educational Technology (DTE). I’m also the assistent secretary of the Research Centre for Didactics and Technology in Teacher Education (CIDTFF). My research concerns are related to the educational potential of ICT on initial teacher training. I’m quite an old in this field! I started with DOS a long time ago! Now my interests converge to Second Life, as an enriched virtual world and environment that can enhance our actual teaching and learning models!
